My job is to decrease the state taxes in the State of Texas at the most responsible level in our history. During my term as a Councilmember for the City of Benbrook, I have voted to decrease the ad valorem tax rate every single year, as a result, Benbrook property owners have seen a decrease from a rate of .7425 cents to .6975 cents during my tenure, while not only balancing the budget, but continuously providing a surplus. In order to continue this trend at the state level, we must strive to be good and strong stewards of the taxes our citizens have entrusted to us. As a Representative, I will continue to support legislation that will decrease the tax burden on our citizens.
