Every Texan should have access to affordable health care. I own my own law practice, and my wife owns a preschool. As small business owners, I understand all too well the costs associated with health insurance for individuals and small business owners. I know people who own their own businesses that cannot afford health care. This is completely unacceptable. Small business drives our economy, yet many cannot provide health insurance for their employees, much less themselves? I will support legislation that will give individuals and small businesses the opportunity to obtain affordable, as well as quality health care.
